Giving Back

At Blandford Homes we don't just build homes, we build communities. Creating a positive impact on our local communities by giving back is one of our core values.

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

Loren’s Cottage

Loren’s Cottage is a 6,700 square foot girls’ home at Sunshine Acres that was built by Blandford Homes with support from our trade partners. This is home to 10 deserving girls and their house parents and children. This home consists of 5 Bedrooms for the girls, along with 4 additional bedrooms for the house parents and their children as well as relief parents. For over 35 years we have partnered with Sunshine Acres and their dedicated team. Lauren’s Cottage marks the 8th home built by Blandford Homes at Sunshine Acres and the 9th home will begin construction in early 2024. Since 1954, the mission has been to provide a loving, Christian home for children who are separated from their parents and help them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures preparing them for a successful adult life. United Food Bank

During the Holiday Season, Food Bank’s receive the bulk of their donations and then the giving slows down but the need continues. To help start the year 2024 strong we’ve donated 50,000 meals for the families in our Community. The United Food Bank is deeply rooted in the East Valley yet services 19,608 square miles in our state including some of the most remote areas. Over many years, Blandford Homes has partnered with them hosting food drives, volunteering, and through monetary contributions. Child Crisis Arizona

Over the last 40 years, Blandford Homes has been a major supporter of Child Crisis Arizona which helps our Community’s most vulnerable children, youth and families. This year we made a $1,000,000 commitment to their Center for Child and Family Wellness which is slated to open next year. This 38,000-square-foot, climate-friendly, net-zero campus will expand Child Crisis Arizona’s ability to serve more people and offer health, wellness, and educational opportunities to the community. Eden Village of Arizona

Blandford Homes has made a significant commitment to help build Eden Village of Arizona. This proven tiny home community provides permanent supportive housing for the chronically homeless disabled. The mission of Eden Village of Arizona is to create relationships, community, and self-sufficiency through the development of interdependent neighborhoods.

The first community is being slated in Mesa, Arizona with 21 new homes, built using a combination of the latest 3D printing technology and conventional stucco construction. Each tiny home will include a living room, kitchen, one bedroom, and one bath, solar panels, and the interiors will be completely furnished. There will be a community center, a community garden, gathering areas, gated and secured perimeter fencing, security cameras, and a dog park to exercise their canine best friends.
